1. What happens to my bots if my subscription expires?

2. Is 3Commas safe to use?
Answer: Yes, 3Commas is a non-custodial crypto trading software, meaning it cannot access or withdraw your funds. Your account connects to exchanges via API keys, which only allow 3Commas to manage trading but not withdrawals. To enhance security, 3Commas uses advanced protection methods such as API Key Whitelisting, SignCenter, and Fast Connect where supported.
For additional security:
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Use API Key IP Whitelisting to restrict access to trusted IPs.
Set up an anti-phishing code in your email communications.

3. How can I cancel my subscription or recurring payment?
Answer: You can stop future charges by canceling the recurring payment. To do this, kindly check this article: How to cancel a recurring payment for my subscription?.
4. How do I withdraw funds from my 3Commas account?
Answer: 3Commas does not hold your funds. Your funds remain on the connected exchange, and withdrawals must be made directly through your exchange account.
5. Why can’t I see my funds on my Futures Bybit account?
Answer: Make sure you are using Cross Margin on Bybit, as only Cross Margin is supported at the moment in Bybit API v5. After changing the setting, refresh the account to check if the balance is now displayed.

6. I connected an exchange, but I can't see my balance.
Answer: Make sure your API connection to the exchange is correctly set up. You might need to refresh the connection or check if your exchange supports the features you’re trying to use (e.g., futures trading or spot trading). You can check this list of supported exchanges.
7. What exchanges are supported by 3Commas?

8. How can I switch between Spot and Futures exchange in 3Commas?
Answer: You can switch between Spot and Futures bots by selecting the relevant exchange account when setting up the bot. Ensure that you’ve correctly connected both spot and futures accounts via API keys.

9. What is the difference between Base and Quote currencies in 3Commas?
Answer: In a trading pair like BTC/USDT:
Base currency (BTC) is the asset you're buying or selling.
Quote currency (USDT) is the currency you use to measure the value of the base currency.
So, in BTC/USDT, you are trading BTC and measuring its value in USDT.
10. What’s the difference between a DCA bot and a Grid bot?
Answer: A DCA bot uses Dollar-Cost Averaging to buy more of an asset at preset intervals, while a Grid bot places buy and sell orders at fixed price levels, allowing you to profit from price fluctuations.
11. Can I run multiple bots on different exchanges simultaneously?
Answer: Yes, you can run multiple bots across different exchanges at the same time as long as they are properly connected via API keys and meet the subscription plan’s limitations.
12. How do I set a stop-loss or take-profit on a Smarttrade?
Answer: When creating a SmartTrade, you can set stop-loss and take-profit levels by using the options in the trade interface. These orders will automatically trigger once the specified price conditions are met.
13. The TradingView chart isn’t visible in the bot or SmartTrade. What can I do?
Answer: If the TradingView chart isn’t loading, try the following steps:
Clear your cache and cookies.
Use Chrome in incognito mode.
Try another browser or device.

14. Does 3Commas offer an arbitrage bot?

15. Why does my deal keep placing orders even though my balance is low?
Answer: If your bot is placing orders with insufficient funds, it could be that it hasn’t been paused or disabled properly. Double-check the bot’s status and make sure it’s not trying to execute trades without adequate balance.
16. Why can’t I see my closed deals in the dashboard?
Answer: If you can’t see closed deals, make sure that the filter settings on your dashboard are set to show closed deals. You may also need to refresh your browser or clear cache.
17. Can I adjust my DCA bot’s settings after it has started?
Answer: Yes, you can edit a DCA bot’s settings even after it has started. Go to the bot's settings and make the necessary adjustments. However, only new deals will be affected by the changes. Previously opened deals will stay as is.
18. Why do I get a “Bot will use amount greater than you have on exchange.” warning when trying to set up a bot?
Answer: This warning shows up when there isn’t enough balance in the specified asset pair on your exchange. Double-check your account to ensure you have sufficient funds available for the bot to operate.
19. Can I use 3Commas on a mobile device?
Answer: Yes, 3Commas is available as a mobile app on both iOS and Android. You can manage your bots, trades, and portfolios on the go through the app.
20. What’s the difference between SmartTrade and a trading bot?
Answer: SmartTrade allows you to manually place and manage trades with advanced options like take-profit and stop-loss. A trading bot, on the other hand, is automated and executes trades based on pre-set strategies.
21. Do I need a 3Commas subscription to use the SmartTrade feature?
Answer: 3 SmartTrades are available on the Free plan, but higher-tier subscription plans offer greater limits on active Smarttrades.
22. I’m running a signal bot, but when I open SmartTrade, I can't see my trade.
Answer: The current version of the 3Commas mobile application does not support displaying SmartTrades created by the Signal bot. This feature is still under development and is expected to be included in future updates of the app. For now, you will not be able to manage or view these SmartTrades within the mobile application, and this is a known limitation. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while this functionality is being worked on.
23. How do I connect my 3Commas account to TradingView for signals?
Answer: To connect 3Commas with TradingView, you’ll need to set up alerts in TradingView and use the webhook URL provided by 3Commas from the specific bot (DCA/Signal bot). For detailed instructions, check our guides:
24. Why is my bot not starting a deal after I’ve set it up?
Answer: If your bot isn’t starting a deal, check that all API keys are correctly connected, your account has sufficient balance, and verify the conditions on the bot settings are met. Also, verify that you haven’t exceeded your subscription plan’s bot limits.

25. How do I enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for my 3Commas account?
Answer: You can enable 2FA in your account settings under Security. We highly recommend enabling 2FA to add an extra layer of protection to your account.
26. I signed up using my Binance account. Can I switch to email/password login?
Answer: Yes, but you will need to reach out to 3Commas Support to change your login method from Binance to email/password.
27. I can’t seem to log into my account. Was my subscription payment unsuccessful?
Answer: You can still log into 3Commas without a paid account, so the issue may not be related to your subscription. If you use email/password to login and entered the wrong password multiple times, your account may be locked. You can unlock it by resetting your password using the "Forgot Password" link.
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE:
Performing a password reset via email confirmation will reset the API connections and unlink your connected exchange accounts - please log-in immediately after resetting your password and re-connect your exchange accounts.

28. How do I upgrade my subscription plan?

29. Is the promo code discount a one-time offer or permanent?
Answer: Promo codes typically offer a one-time discount and cannot be reused unless otherwise stated.
30. Why is my subscription fee different in various countries?
Answer: The subscription fee appears in your local currency. For example, in Poland, it's shown in ZLT instead of EUR. 3Commas adjusts pricing based on the country and its currency, which is why you may see differences in rates.
