Updated over a month ago

Not all crypto exchanges are available in every country due to local regulations or licensing rules. This article provides a list of exchanges that are commonly available and supported on 3Commas for residents of:

  • 🇺🇸 The United States

  • 🇪🇺 The European Union / European Economic Area (EEA)

For the full list of supported exchanges and their features, please refer to:

🇺🇸 USA-Friendly Exchanges

Note:

Most exchanges restrict Futures trading for U.S. residents due to regulatory policies. Please check with the exchange directly to confirm availability in your state.

🇪🇺 EEA/EU-Friendly Exchanges

These exchanges are accessible to most residents in the EU or EEA. However, certain features, especially derivatives and real trading access, may be limited due to compliance with MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation) 2025.

All EEA users must complete AML checks (as part of the KYC process) to unlock full access to trading.

  • Binance (Spot only) – Fully supported for EEA users; Futures available only via Binance Futures Credit (BNFCR) mode

  • Bitstamp – SmartTrade, Signal bots

  • Bitget – SmartTrade, Signal bots, DCA bots, GRID bots

  • Coinbase Advanced - SmartTrade, Signal bots, DCA bots (Single & Multi pair), GRID bots

  • Kraken – Full Spot and Derivatives support

Important for EEA users

At this time, only users who are residents of EEA countries and hold identity documents from an EEA member state may proceed with KYC verification.

If you are physically located in the EEA but use non-EEA identity documents, your KYC application may be rejected.
