Why Connect Telegram to 3Commas?

Telegram integration isn’t just about receiving alerts. It turns your messaging app into a powerful companion for your trading activity. With the official 3Commas Telegram bot, you can:

  • Get instant alerts about trades, errors, and account events

  • Send bot commands to start, stop, or list your bots

  • Monitor your bot activity and performance in real time via Telegram commands

  • Connect with the 3Commas Telegram Community

Let’s walk through how to set it up and make the most of it.

1. Activate Telegram Notifications in 3Commas

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Click Activate Telegram Bot

  3. This will redirect you to Telegram (web or app) — press Start bot to activate the bot

Once connected, you’ll immediately start receiving notifications from your account.

2. Customize Notification Types

  • After linking Telegram, return to Settings > Notifications

  • Select which notifications you'd like to receive (e.g., deal opened, SL hit, external trade alerts)

  • For full details on all notification channels (email, mobile, website), check out our Notifications Setup Guide.

  • You can configure notifications for:

    • Security events

    • Demo Account (same options as real accounts)

    • SmartTrades

    • DCA Bots

    • Grid Bots

    • API Key Expiration

Note: The "External trades" security alert is only available for Pro or higher plans and requires a connected Binance account.
