Before You Begin
Crypto payments can take up to an hour to process. If you're in a hurry, consider using PayPal or a card.
Not all countries support crypto payments. Users in the EEA, UK, USA, Canada, and UAE cannot pay with cryptocurrencies.
Make sure to send the exact amount (including fees) to avoid delays or payment failures.
New to Crypto Payments? Read This First
If this is your first time paying with crypto, please read this section carefully to avoid failed transactions or delays.
Common issues first-time users encounter:
Wrong network used: For example, sending USDT via BEP20 instead of ERC20 or TRC20 will result in failure. Only the exact networks listed in our checkout page are accepted.
Underpaid transactions: You must include the transaction fee from your wallet or exchange. Sending less than the requested amount will cause the payment to fail.
Timeouts: Payments must be received before the expiration timer runs out (usually 2 hours). If your exchange delays the transfer, your payment might expire.
Pro Tip: Send from a personal wallet like MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or Phantom to avoid slow or incorrect transfers from centralized exchanges.
Important
If you paid using the wrong network or underpaid, the only way to resolve the issue is to request a return transaction directly from CoinPayments Support.
This process may require sending additional funds to cover the return transaction fee.
1. Choose a Cryptocurrency for Payment
To get the wallet address and amount to pay, first select your preferred cryptocurrency from the available options:
Accepted Cryptos & Networks
USDT (TRC20)
USDT (ERC20)
USDC (ERC20)
BTC (BTC network)
ETH
BNB (BSC Chain)
SOL
TRX
LTC
Important
Only L1 mainnet coins are accepted (using the wrong network may result in permanent loss of funds).
If you accidentally send funds via the wrong network, contact CoinPayments.net support to see if a refund is possible:
CoinPayments SupportYou will need your Transaction ID (TX ID), wallet address, or CoinPayments reference number.
If you don’t have the reference number, contact 3Commas support for assistance.
Faster and Cheaper Transactions
For lower fees and quicker processing, use LTC or TRX instead of BTC or USDT (ERC20).
Example: LTC fees are 0.00100 LTC (~0.094 USDT), making it much cheaper than ERC20 transactions.
2. How Much to Send (Avoiding Payment Errors)
Include all fees in your transaction amount.
Send slightly more if needed, but never less than the required amount.
If you overpay, CoinPayments will email you with refund instructions.
Round up if your wallet doesn’t allow exact amounts.
Example: If the subscription costs 450.19 USDT, send 450.19 USDT + transaction fee (e.g., 1.2 USDT).
3. Sending Your Payment
a. Copy the wallet address or scan the QR code if using a mobile wallet.
b. Double-check the crypto type and network before sending.
c. Send your payment before the expiration time (usually 2 hours) to avoid cancellation.
If Your Payment "Times Out"
Some exchanges take too long to process withdrawals.
Check your email (including Junk/Spam) for a refund link from CoinPayments.
Tip:
To avoid delays, send payments from a personal wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet) rather than directly from an exchange.
4. Check Your Payment Status (If Needed)
After sending the payment, click "Check Transaction Status" to view the CoinPayments status page.
On the Subscription page, go to Subscription History and click the Check Status icon.
Once your payment is received, a confirmation pop-up will appear, and your subscription will be activated.
Requesting a Refund (Crypto Payments)
Recurring billing does not apply to crypto payments, so there’s no need to cancel anything manually.
Make sure your subscription qualifies under our Refund Policy.
Please contact the support team via the widget on the website or via email (write a request only from the email address that is registered in 3Commas).
Be prepared to include the following information:
Your 3Commas User ID (found at the top left of your settings page)
Your USDC (ERC20) wallet address for the refund
A brief reason why you are cancelling your subscription
