3Commas does not handle funds directly. All transactions are processed by Mercuryo, and crypto is sent directly to your exchange account. This offers the convenience of buying crypto via the 3Commas interface while ensuring the transaction is secure and compliant.
Step-by-Step Guide to Buying Crypto
Step 1: Start the Purchase Process
You can initiate the purchase process from any of these locations:
Exchange account information page (click the View button).
Step 2: Choose Card as the Payment Method
Select Card as your payment option to proceed.
Step 3: Enter Purchase Details
Enter the amount of fiat currency you want to spend.
Select the cryptocurrency you want to purchase.
Choose the Network if applicable (e.g., ERC-20, TRC-20).
Review how much crypto you will receive and confirm the receiving exchange account address.
Click the Continue button.
Step 4: Select Payment Option
Choose your preferred payment method based on your device and country (e.g., Google Pay, Bank Card, or Revolut Pay). Then click Buy or Continue.
Step 5: Enter Email Address
Provide your email address to receive the payment invoice and click Continue.
If using GPay or ApplePay, log into your account to proceed with payment.
Step 6: Authenticate Payment
Enter the authentication code sent to your registered email or phone to verify the transaction.
Step 7: Complete KYC Verification (if requested)
You may be required to complete KYC verification as per Mercuryo’s internal rules.
Upload scans or photos of your ID documents.
Take a selfie using your device’s camera for identity verification.
You may also skip the KYC verification if you are eligible for FastTrack.
Step 8: Enter Card Details
Input your card information to complete the payment.
Step 9: Confirm Purchase
Once the payment is processed, your crypto will be transferred to your exchange account.
