Why are accounts deleted?
If an account hasn’t been accessed or used for trading or subscriptions for 2 years or more, it is considered inactive. These accounts are deleted to:
Protect your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy – EEA and Privacy Policy – Non-EEA
Maintain compliance with our Terms of Service – EEA and Terms of Service – Non-EEA
Ensure system resources are focused on active users.
What happens before deletion?
Email notification: You’ll receive an email letting you know your account is inactive and scheduled for deletion. You’ll have 7 days to reactivate simply by logging in.
Account suspension: If you don’t log in within the 7-day notice period, your account may be suspended as part of the deletion process. During this period, you may see “account is suspended” when trying to log in.
Deletion confirmation: If your account isn’t reactivated, you’ll receive a second email once the account is permanently deleted.
What if I see “account is suspended”?
This can happen if your account was marked inactive and is in the deletion process.
There can be a delay between suspension and the actual deletion due to processing queues.
If you want to regain access, contact Support to request restoration (as long as deletion hasn’t been completed).
What happens after deletion?
Your account access is permanently removed.
Some records (like invoices or legally required information) may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
Deleted accounts cannot be restored automatically. If you wish to use 3Commas again, you’ll need to create a new account.
How to keep your account active
To avoid deletion, log in within the 7-day notice period. If your account is already suspended, contact Support to request restoration.
