Understanding PnL (Profit and Loss) and uPnL (Unrealized Profit and Loss) is essential for evaluating trading performance in 3Commas.

PnL: Profit and Loss

  • PnL represents the result of closed trades, showing whether a profit or loss was realized.

  • Profit is displayed in green, and loss is shown in red, making it easy to see trade outcomes at a glance.


uPnL: Unrealized Profit and Loss

uPnL reflects potential profit or loss on open trades that haven't been closed yet.

  • Unrealized Profit: Occurs when an asset's value increases after purchase but hasn’t been sold.

  • Unrealized Loss: Occurs when an asset’s value decreases after purchase but hasn’t been sold.


Where to Find uPnL on 3Commas

  • Displays the combined uPnL for all active Bot deals.

  • Shows how much profit or loss could be realized if all active deals were closed at the current market price.

Here, you can view PnL, uPnL, or Total Profit (the combined value of PnL and uPnL) for each bot.
