If you're not receiving emails from 3Commas, such as IP log-in codes or email verification messages, it might be due to email providers filtering messages as spam or junk. This issue is common with certain providers but can be resolved using the steps below.
What Can You Do?
Check Your Webmail Interface
Log in to your email provider's webmail interface and search for messages from [email protected].
Some email providers may block or filter suspected spam messages from appearing on your smartphone or email program.
Whitelist 3Commas Email Addresses
Add [email protected] and other official 3Commas email addresses to your webmail address book.
This can "whitelist" the sender, ensuring future messages are not marked as spam or blocked.
Change Your Email Address or Login Type
If the issue persists, you can update your email address or switch your login type.

FAQ
Are security and system emails unsubscribable?
No. For safety and legal reasons you cannot unsubscribe from security or system emails such as login notifications, login codes, and password resets.
What’s the difference between IP login codes, 2FA codes, and login notifications?
IP login code: An extra verification step by email, mobile app, or Telegram when a new IP logs in if IP check is enabled.
2FA code: Generated in your authenticator app. It does not arrive by email.
Login notification: An informational email that’s sent on every successful login and cannot be disabled.
I use Apple “Hide My Email.” Could that affect delivery?
Yes. If you registered with Apple and enabled Hide My Email, Apple created an alias that forwards to your real inbox. Make sure forwarding is still active for that alias. If you lost access to the alias or forwarding is off, change your 3Commas email or switch login type.
Which sender addresses and domains should I allowlist?
Add these to your contacts or safe senders list: [email protected] and [email protected]. Also allow the 3commas.io domain. Then resend the code.
I’m still not getting the code. How long should I wait and how many times can I request it?
Requests made rapidly can be rate-limited. Wait a short period before requesting again, use the most recent email only, and avoid multiple quick requests. If you triggered a cooldown, waiting a few minutes and then retrying usually helps.
Can I receive IP login codes without email?
Yes. If available for your account, you can get IP login confirmations via the mobile app or Telegram after connecting them. We also strongly recommend enabling 2FA so you generate login codes yourself instead of relying on email.
I changed my email but do not receive messages yet. What should I check?
Confirm there are no typos in your new email, check Spam and Junk folders in webmail, add our senders to your contacts, then resend the verification. If problems persist, consider trying a different reputable email provider.
Do corporate or school email filters cause issues?
They can. Ask your IT team to allowlist [email protected], [email protected], and the 3commas.io domain. If your domain enforces strict inbound policies, adjust spam sensitivity or safe sender lists accordingly.
Can I disable login notification emails?
No. Login notifications are a mandatory security measure and can’t be turned off.
I unsubscribed from 3Commas emails. Could that block security emails?
No. Marketing preferences don’t affect transactional security messages. You’ll still receive login notifications, codes, and password reset emails.
I use Outlook, Live, or Hotmail and nothing arrives. Any tips?
Check Spam and the webmail interface, add our senders to Safe senders, and reduce aggressive filtering. If needed, try a different email provider.
Still not receiving emails after all steps?
Contact Support with your 3Commas account email, the approximate time of your last code request, your email provider, and whether you use Apple Hide My Email or SSO. This helps the team check delivery status quickly.
