1. Log in to Bitfinex
Go to Bitfinex and log in or create a new account.
2. Navigate to the API Page
Hover over the profile icon (top right).
Hover over API Keys and click Create New Key.
3. Set Permissions and IP Whitelisting
Enable the required permissions as shown in the screenshot below.

3Commas supports IP whitelisting for added security.
Copy the IP addresses from the exchange connection page on 3Commas.
Paste them into the IP whitelist field on Bitfinex.
4. Name Your API Key & Generate
Choose a recognizable name for easy management.
Click Generate API Key.
5. Confirm Security Steps
2FA Verification: Enter your authentication code if enabled.
Email Confirmation: Open the Bitfinex email and approve the request.
6. Copy & Store Your API Keys Securely
Save your API Key and API Secret in a safe place.
