Qualitative Analysis

Qualitative analysis is a method of evaluating an asset, company, or project using non-numerical factors. Quantitative Easing (QE)

A monetary policy used by central banks to add more money into the financial system, usually by buying government bonds or other assets. QE is often used during weak economic conditions to support lending, spending, and market liquidity. In crypto markets, traders may watch QE because increased liquidity can affect demand for risk assets.

Quantitative Tightening (QT)

A monetary policy used by central banks to reduce money supply or liquidity in the financial system. This usually happens when a central bank lets assets mature without replacing them or sells assets it previously bought. QT can make financial conditions tighter, which may affect risk assets such as stocks and crypto.

Quantum Bit (Qubit)

The basic unit of quantum information. Unlike classical bits, which are either 0 or 1, qubits can represent both 0 and 1 simultaneously through superposition.

Quantum Computing

An emerging form of computation based on the principles of quantum mechanics. Quantum computers can process vast amounts of data simultaneously, potentially threatening classical cryptographic systems used in blockchain.

Quasar Smart Contract (OMG Foundation)

A smart contract framework developed by the OMG Foundation (formerly OmiseGO) to address scalability and interoperability issues on layer-2 networks.

Query

A query is a request for information from a system, database, website, or application. In crypto and trading tools, queries may be used to retrieve market data, account information, transaction records, or other requested data from a connected system.
