Binance API keys are only valid for 90 days, which means that after this time you will have to update your API keys to continue using 3Commas in conjunction with your Binance account. But don’t worry, this should only take you a few minutes to complete.
Here is how to update your Binance API keys:
Go to the API Management page
Hover the mouse over the profile icon on the top right corner, then click on "API Management":
2. Choose the API key you need to edit from the list and click “Edit Restrictions”:
3. Check the following boxes:
*IP access restrictions: Do not select Restrict access to trusted IPs only. 3Commas leverages various IP addresses and changing the setting to Restrict access will result in connection issues with our service. The recommended security measure is to enable 2FA on Binance and 3Commas as well as making sure Enable Withdrawals is NOT selected.
Note: Any of these permissions will automatically create all 4 types of Binance accounts: Binance Spot, Binance Cross Margin, Binance USDT-M Futures, and Binance COIN-M Futures. In order for the API connection to work properly, we recommend you enable all permissions, as per the screenshot above. If you need to connect only one specific account, you need to choose it from the drop-down list on My Exchanges page and create the API keys as usual (here is the example of how to connect Binance Futures account):
4. Click Save to complete the update and you are almost done!
5. Refresh the linked exchange account on 3Commas:
Open My Exchanges page, and find the account you need to update. My Exchanges section is below the Connect new exchange and Aggregate account balance sections on the page, scroll the page down if required.
Then click on the small green Refresh button:
That's all you have to do, everything else will resume automatically on 3Commas so that you can continue to use our trading tools immediately!
