Strategy Gallery: How to find and launch pre-built DCA bot strategies

This article explains what the Strategy Gallery is, how to use it, how to launch a DCA bot from a strategy card, and what performance metrics like ROI, APY, and drawdown actually mean.

Strategy Gallery helps you launch a DCA bot using pre-built strategies based on historical backtest data. It is designed to reduce setup time and help you get started faster, especially if you are new to automated trading.

What is the Strategy Gallery?

The Strategy Gallery is a collection of ready-to-use DCA bot configurations built from historical backtests.

Each strategy is presented as a card that includes:

  • Trading pair (for example, BTC/USDT)

  • Direction (Long or Short)

  • Market type (Spot or Futures)

  • Backtest performance metrics (ROI, APY, Drawdown)

  • Minimum deposit

Instead of configuring a DCA bot from scratch, you can review a strategy and launch it with one click.

How to use the Strategy Gallery

Step 1: Open Strategy Gallery

Go to Strategy Gallery from the left sidebar.

Step 2: Use filters to find strategies

You can filter strategies based on:

  • Exchange (connected exchanges)

  • Pair (BTC, ETH, and others)

  • Direction (Long / Short)

  • Market type (Spot or Futures)

  • Max Drawdown

  • ROI range

  • Duration of backtest

You can also sort strategies using Sort by to display higher-performing backtests first.

Step 3: Review a strategy card

Each card shows key information:

  • APY (Annual Percentage Yield) based on backtest

  • Minimum deposit required

  • Max floating drawdown

  • Performance chart (based on historical data)

Take time to review these metrics before launching.

Step 4: Launch the strategy

The button on each card depends on your account status:

  • Activate Trial → if your trial is not active

  • Connect Exchange → if no exchange is connected

  • Copy Bot → if your account is ready

When you click Copy Bot, the system creates a DCA bot using the selected strategy preset.

What happens when you click “Copy Bot”?

When you copy a strategy:

  • A DCA bot is created using the preset configuration

  • You can review and edit settings before launch

  • The DCA bot will run on your connected exchange using your funds

You are not locked into the preset. You can adjust parameters before starting the DCA bot.

Understanding performance metrics

ROI (Return on Investment)

Shows the percentage profit or loss generated during the backtest period.

APY (Annual Percentage Yield)

APY is calculated based on the backtest result and duration.

It estimates how the strategy would perform over a year using a simple formula.

APY is an estimate based on historical data and does not represent actual yearly returns.

Max Drawdown

Shows the largest drop in value during the backtest.

  • Lower drawdown = lower historical risk

  • Higher drawdown = higher historical risk

Duration

Indicates how long the backtest was run (for example, 30 days or 90 days).

How strategies are selected and sorted

  • Strategies are based on internal backtests

  • Only recent backtests are shown (older results are removed)

  • Strategies may be sorted by ROI or APY

This helps surface more active and recent strategies, but does not guarantee future performance.

Important

  • Backtest results are based on historical data

    • Market conditions change

    • A strategy that performed well in the past may perform differently in real trading

  • Fees are based on default assumptions

    • Backtests use standard exchange fee assumptions

    • Your actual fees (VIP tiers, discounts, or promotions) may differ

    • Real results may vary because of this

  • Execution depends on real market conditions

    • Slippage, liquidity, and volatility affect results

    • Real trades may not match backtest performance exactly

  • Strategy Gallery does not guarantee profit

    • Strategies are tools, not predictions

    • Always review settings and risk before launching

Frequently asked questions

Are these strategies guaranteed to be profitable?

No. All strategies are based on historical backtests. Future performance may differ due to changing market conditions.

Can I edit a strategy after copying it?

Yes. After clicking Copy Bot, you can review and modify the DCA bot settings before starting it.

What does APY mean in Strategy Gallery?

APY is an annualized estimate based on backtest performance and duration. It is not a guaranteed yearly return.

Why do strategies change after I connect an exchange?

The gallery adjusts available strategies based on your connected exchanges and supported markets.

Do backtests include real trading fees?

Backtests use default fee assumptions. Your actual trading fees may differ depending on your exchange settings.

Why don’t I see older strategies?

Only recent backtests are shown to keep results relevant and avoid outdated performance data.
